Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja played a key role in India's dominating 8-wicket win over Scotland in Dubai on Friday, November 5. India won with 13.3 overs to spare which pushed their net run-rate above Afghanistan and New Zealand.
The whole of India and the Indian team will now have their eyes on Sunday's clash between Afghanistan and New Zealand in Abu Dhabi which will decide their fate in the tournament.
If New Zealand wins the game, they will qualify for the semi-finals, but if Afghanistan wins, then India will have the chance to qualify when they play Namibia on Monday.
India have posted two big back-to-back wins over Afghanistan and Scotland to give themselves some hope when it seemed all lost for the Virat Kohli-led team after their heavy defeats against Pakistan and New Zealand.

Jadeja, who took 3/15 against Scotland, was named the Player-of-the-Match and also appeared for the post-match press conference where he responded hilariously to a reporter's question on the team's future in the tournament.
The reporter asked, “There are talks going around that if New Zealand lost to Afghanistan, our chances brighten. But what if New Zealand don't lose to Afghanistan?”
Jadeja funnily replied, “Toh phir... bag pack karke ghar Jayenge, aur kya? (What else? Pack our bags and head home).”
