Australia's fast bowler Mitchell Starc is having a decent outing in the ongoing 2021 T20 World Cup tournament. He has bagged four wickets in two matches for his team against South Africa (2/32), and Sri Lanka (2/27).

But off the field, Starc wasn't as smooth as his bowling when ICC social media team made him sit in front of the camera. The Aussie took four takes to deliver a line in a video for ICC.

The cricketer was asked to welcome fans to the tournament through a video message but he stumbled a few times before finally getting it right. The ICC shared the clip on their social media and asked, "One line. Four takes. Not as easy as it sounds, right?"

Starc gives up midway in the first attempt and then laughts it off, "I am Mitch Starc, welcome to the ICC Men's World," he said. The ICC media team tried to keep him going with an applause after the second attempt, but he failed in the third attempt too.

The speedster finally got it right on fourth attempt and the relief was visible on his face. "Welcome to the ICC Men's T20 World Cup", he said.

Australia have won their first two matches of the Super 12 stage, against South Africa and Sri Lanka. They are currently at the second spot in the Group 1 points table with four points.
