New Zealand’s Devon Conway on Tuesday (October 26) once again proved why he is rated among the best fielders in world cricket.
In the 19th match of the ongoing T20 World Cup, Conway produced a spectacular catch to get rid of Pakistan batter Mohammad Hafeez.
Chasing 135 to win, Pakistan were in a decent position with Hafeez and Mohammad Rizwan at the crease before Conway’s brilliance on the field brought the Kiwis back in the contest.
During the 11th over of Pakistan’s innings, Hafeez stepped out to loft Mitchell Santner over long-off and seemed to make a good connection. But Conway, who was stationed at long-off, plucked the ball out of thin air while diving full length to his left.
Here’s the video:
Mohammad Hafeez got out on 11 while Rizwan fell for 33 in the very next over as Pakistan reduced New Zealand to 69/4 in 11.4 overs.
