T20 World Cup 2021: Pakistan's Shahnawaz Dahani meets his 'dream player' MS Dhoni after Indo-Pak match

Pakistan cricketer Shahnawaz Dahani was filled with happiness after their win against India in the 2021 T20 World Cup on Sunday (October 24). The day just got better for the youngster after he met one of his dream players, Team India's mentor MS Dhoni.

The 23-year-old was not included in Pakistan's playing XI for the clash against India. But he will never forget this day which was turned special after meeting Dhoni. The ex-India captain is among the few Indian cricketers who have influenced youngsters across the border.

Dahani posted a picture with Dhoni after the match and wrote, "what a night it was, Happiness of Pakistan's Victory and excitement of meeting one of my dream player @Msdhoni can't be forgotten."

The Pakistan cricketer had already shown excitement when he got a glimpse of Dhoni ahead of the India vs Pakistan match. India's mentor was walking past Pakistan's practice session when Dahani called out for Dhoni.

The two had a short conversation and a video of the incident was all over social media. Dahani was heard saying, "Aap Dhoni hain...mai Dahani hoon" in the video.
