Former England cricketer Kevin Pietersen has come up with a suggestion following India’s 10-wicket defeat to Pakistan in the ICC T20 World Cup 2021 match on October 24.
The 16th match of the T20 World Cup 2021 saw Pakistan thrashing Team India to register their first-ever victory against the Men in Blue in the history of the World Cup.
After restricting ‘Men in Blue’ for just 151/7, the Babar Azam-led side displayed sensational batting performance with unbeaten half-centuries from captain Babar Azam and keeper Mohammad Rizwan, to hand Team India a 10-wicket loss for the first time in T20Is.

In aftermath of India's loss, former England skipper Kevin Pietersen suggested that the Asian heavyweights should face each other every year in 3 T20Is at neutral venues and the winner should receive prize money of USD 15 million.
He added that everyone in the cricket fraternity will "queue up" to see that spectacle every year.
"IDEA: India should play PAK every year in 3 T20s at a neutral venue over a 5 day period! 15 man squads, $15M purse for the winning team. Cities/countries/broadcasters would queue up to have that week every single year," Kevin Pietersen Tweeted.
Notably, India and Pakistan clash with each other only in ICC events and Asia Cup as bilateral series between them do not occur due to political tensions. The last time two nations clashed in bilateral series was in 2012-13 when Pakistan toured India for two T20Is and three ODIs.
