T20 World Cup 2021: Twitterati laud Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni's display of sportsmanship with Pakistan cricketers

Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni were seen having a chat with Pakistan cricketers after defeat.

Pakistan secured a comfortable win over India by 10 wickets in the 2021 T20 World Cup match on Sunday (October 24). Opening pair Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan added an unbeaten partnership of 152 runs to win the match in 17.5 overs.

Indian skipper Virat Kohli showed good sportsmanship after the match as he was seen congratulating both the Pakistan openers. Rizwan even hugged Kohli after the handshake.

Fans from both sides lauded Kohli's sportsmanship spirit after the game. It was India's first-ever loss against Pakistan in an ICC World Cup tournament. 

Team India's mentor MS Dhoni was also seen interacting with Pakistan's former captain Shoaib Malik, all-rounder Imad Wasim, and current skipper Babar. The pictures went viral on social media and the ex-India cricketer was praised.

The Twitterati wrote that they are rivals on the field but not enemies.
