India and Pakistan are going to take on each other for the first time since the 2019 World Cup tournament. The T20 World Cup 2021 match between the rivals will be played on October 24 in the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

The excitement starts building in both countries when they clash in the game of cricket. Former India cricketer Suresh Raina said the India-Pakistan encounter is more than a cricket match, as there will be butterflies in the stomach.

"Cricket is the same, but there will be pressure at the World Cup. And when it comes to India-Pakistan, definitely both teams will say that it’s just another normal game. But it won’t be normal. So there will be butterflies in the stomach,” Raina said on Salaam Cricket.

“You will be under pressure. But it will depend on who handles pressure better. The team that handles the pressure better will win the match,” he added.

Raina, who has been part of many India-Pakistan matches, knows how important it is to handle pressure in such a high-voltage cricket match. He spoke on the difference in dealing with the pressure in the shortest format.

“The intent has to be the same. The processes are the same for T20 cricket too. But how you handle pressure matters a lot in this format,” said Raina.

The 34-year-old also feels the dew is going to play a crucial factor in the T20 World Cup, played in UAE. “Dew can be a big factor in the UAE, but the spinners will get a lot of help. We have seen how the Sharjah pitch behaved. Abu Dhabi and Dubai are good pitches,” he said.

“But the weather is getting better. I have a feeling that if the batsman. Even in the IPL final, CSK scored 190 runs. So you have to see the ball and play it according to its merit,” the southpaw added.
