The much-anticipated T20 World Cup 2021 clash between India and Pakistan is now just three days away. The Asian giants will open their campaign with the high intensity encounter in Dubai on Sunday (October 24).

Former cricketers and fans are eagerly awaiting for the first T20 match between the arch-rivals since the previous edition of the T20 World Cup in 2016. India have won all their previous encounters against Pakistan in the tournament and would love to keep it that way.

India had famously beaten Pakistan by five runs in the final of the inaugural edition in 2007 at Johannesburg with Joginder Sharma bowling India to a win by dismissing Pakistan captain Misbah-ul-Haq.

The demand for tickets is massive in Dubai and as per reports all the tickets for the match were sold out in few hours which left many disappointed who were not lucky. Even the players from both sides are pressurized by friends and family to arrange tickets.

Interestingly, a Pakistani fan in Dubai tried his luck when he saw Shaheen Shah Afridi walking past for his training session as he asked the speedster if he has any tickets, to which Shaheen responded by checking his pockets but could not find any as he gestured hilariously towards the fan.

India won both their warm-up games convincingly against England and Australia, while Pakistan beat defending champions West Indies but lost a last-ball thriller to South Africa.
