Pakistan cricket team members were seen enjoying playing cricket with kids while being in quarantine before departing for Dubai ahead of the 2021 T20 World Cup. The qualifier round of the tournament starts on October 17 in Oman.
A video was posted by Pakistan Cricket on their official Twitter account in which the kids can be seen playing. Pakistan's captain Babar Azam also featured in the video and he was bowling to a kid.
"Quarantine = Cricket time!! Pakistan @T20WorldCup squad spending their isolation time while playing cricket with kids," tweeted Pakistan Cricket.
Pakistan have made changes in their initial T20 World Cup squad and they announced the addition of Haider Ali, Fakhar Zaman, and Sarfaraz Ahmed. Sarfaraz and Ali replaced Azam Khan and Mohammad Hasnain respectively, while Fakhar, who was first named as a traveling reserve, has swapped places with Khushdil Shah.
Shoaib Malik was also included in the squad after Sohaib Maqsood’s lower back problem. He had undergone MRI scans after which the decision was taken by PCB.
Pakistan, who are part of Group 2, will start their campaign against India on 24 October at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
