T20 World Cup 2021: India and England to stay at same hotel in Dubai, says report

India and England are in different Super 12 groups of the T20 World Cup tournament.

The Indian cricket team will be staying in Th8 Palm hotel, Dubai for the 2021 T20 World Cup. Chennai Super Kings (CSK) are currently staying at the hotel for the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021.

As per an ANI report, Virat Kohli and co will have the England cricket team's company during the T20 World Cup as they will also stay at Th8 Palm. The Indian players who are done with the IPL after the league stage have already moved to the hotel.

The upcoming ICC showpiece event is scheduled to be held in UAE and Oman from October 17 to November 14 and the Men in Blue are set to face Pakistan in Dubai on October 24.

"Yes, Indian players will have the English team as the company as they will be staying at Th8 Palm. The Indian players who are done with IPL duties have already moved into the hotel," the ANI source said.

England cricket team is currently in Oman and they have set up a camp for players which started on October 5 and will run up to October 15.

"ECB confirms the 10-day preparatory camp in Oman prior to the start of the Group 1 matches. This is part of our endeavour to acclimatize the team with the conditions. We are thankful to Oman Cricket for the support," Chris Silverwood, head coach of England's men's team, had said.

England all-rounder Sam Curran was recently ruled out of the T20 World Cup and the remainder of IPL due to a back injury.
