Ever since the epic clash between archrivals India and Pakistan in the upcoming T20 World Cup 2021 has been announced, there has been a lot of talk around this encounter which will be taking place in UAE on 24 October.
Since Pakistan has played a lot of cricket in the UAE when international cricket was banned in the country, all-rounder Imad Wasim opined that there will be an home advantage to them as the team is aware of the conditions there.
“UAE's conditions will suit as it is like a home ground for us, having played there for a long period of time. This is why we are also considered as one of the favourites for the tournament. We have skillful players who can take us deep in the championship so we will try to give our 100 percent on the field,” Wasim was quoted as saying by Cricket Pakistan.

The Men in Green will be playing a few good T20 series ahead of the upcoming ICC mega event. Thus, the southpaw feels these series will help them to enter into the T20 World Cup with confidence.
“We have two or three good series before that (T20 World Cup) and (will) focus on winning that so that we head into the World Cup with rhythm and confidence,” the 32-year-old all-rounder said.
As far as the upcoming showpiece event is concerned, Pakistan is placed in Group B along with India, New Zealand, and Afghanistan.
After the match against India on 24 October, the Babar Azam and Co. will be taking on New Zealand on 26 October at Sharjah followed by Afghanistan on 29 October in Dubai.
