Cricketer-turned-commentator Dinesh Karthik is backing West Indies to reach the final of the upcoming T20 World Cup. He previewed the mega ICC event with co-hosts Daren Sammy and Isa Guha on Tuesday (August 17).
Karthik said that he would love to see West Indies in the final of the World Cup against Team India. Isha had asked Sammy and Karthik to pick the winner of the marquee tournament when Karthik named the two finalists.
“I would love to see India and West indies final. I think my second favorite team after India would definitely be West Indies, only for the way they play cricket. I think this format, they love it, it brings out their best in them and I would love to see West Indies in the final. Whether I want them to win it that will depend on the opponent that day,” Karthik said during ICC's digital show.
