Cricket fans are excited to witness the rivals India and Pakistan lock horns in the upcoming 2021 T20 World Cup. On Friday (July 16), the International Cricket Council (ICC) announced the groups for the qualifiers and Super 12s.
ICC has slotted India and Pakistan in group 2 of Super 12s which also features Afghanistan and New Zealand. The other two teams will be decided after the qualifiers in Oman, which is set to take place from October 11.
Group 1 of Super 12s has defending champions West Indies, along with England, Australia, and South Africa. The Super 12s will kick off from October 17 in the United Arab Emirates.

Fans are eager to watch the high-voltage clash between India and Pakistan. The Men in Blue are undefeated in the World Cup matches against Pakistan and they would be looking to continue the record.
The last time India and Pakistan faced each other in a World Cup match was in the 2019 ICC World Cup. India had won the match by 89 runs after Pakistan couldn't chase 302 runs, the revised target by DLS in 40 overs.
