India and New Zealand will face off in the final of the T20 World Cup 2026 on March 8, 2026. The summit clash will happen at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Former India captain MS Dhoni, who led the team to the 2007 T20 World Cup win, was spotted arriving in the city ahead of the match.
The 44-year-old had previously witnessed India's semi-final victory over England in Mumbai and is expected to attend the title match as well. Dhoni attended the semi-final at Wankhede Stadium alongside his wife Sakshi and several celebrities, including Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, and Anil Kapoor.
Dhoni, who is revered in India, guided his country to six ICC tournament knockout stages and three ICC trophies. He is among the most successful white-ball captains in the world.
