Cricket fraternity celebrates India’s 3rd consecutive win over South Africa in ODI series
India defeated South Africa in the 3rd ODI of the six-match series in Cape Town by 124 runs.
India batted first after losing the toss and lost Rohit Sharma early, as he went back to the pavilion for a duck. But Virat Kohli and Shikhar Dhawan added 140 runs for the second wicket before Dhawan fell for 76. Kohli carried on and launched a scathing attack on Proteas bowling in the last 10 overs to take India to 303/6.
Kohli himself scored his 34th ODI century and ended up with 160*, which is also the highest score by an Indian batsman against South Africa.
South Africa tried their best to milk the runs before the spin twins came on. Markram and Duminy added 78 runs, but Chahal (4/46) and Kuldeep (4/23) ran through the South African batting once again and South Africa folded up for 179 runs and India went 3-0 up in the series.
Virat Kohli won the Man of the match and India will be looking seal the series in the 4th ODI.
Cricket fraternity celebrated India’s thumping win over South Africa in the 3rd match of the ODI series and congratulated the team and Virat Kohli on Twitter.

South Africa's lower order has batted with hope as their strongest support. It is not the best way to play spin as they are learning.
