MS Dhoni joined an elite list of wicket-keepers who have 400 or more dismissals in one-day internationals, during the 3rd ODI at Cape Town. He is only the 4th to join the club which includes Kumar Sangakkara (482), Adam Gilchrist (472) and Mark Boucher (424). Dhoni stumped South African skipper Aiden Markram off Kuldeep Yadav to record his 400th dismissal.
Dhoni has taken 294 catches and 106 stumpings to his credit now, and with his wicket-keeping skills being as good as ever, he will be expected to add many more dismissals before he hangs his gloves.
India scored 303/6 thanks to a special knock by captain Virat Kohli who hit his 34th ODI ton and remained unbeaten on 160. Dhoni had an off game with the bat and scored only 10 before holding out on the boundary off Imran Tahir. If India wins this game they will take a lead of 3-0 and won't lose the 6-match series.
