Kagiso Rabada's brilliant display of bowling had ensured they keep a grip on the game in the first Test against India at Cape Town.
When Hardik Pandya was scoring smoothly against the ruthless South African bowling attack, for a moment, the hosts were on backfoot. India were approaching towards South Africa's first innings total when they lost Pandya and gave got back in their court again.
No one would have expected what happened next. After Pandya was dismissed by Rabada, skipper Faf Du Plessis kissed the pacer on his forehead as an appreciation.
Faf also shared the picture on his Instagram and Kagiso's response to it won the internet.
Well, this is not the first time Du Plessis has gave 'kiss of appreciation' to Rabada. Back in 2016, Kagiso's bowling figure had destroyed the Aussies in their own backyard.
The then 21-year-old, who was playing just his eighth Test had bagged 7-170 in South Africa’s big win at WACA.
He had impressed Du Plessis so much that the skipper had jokingly said “I’m sleeping with him tonight.,” in the post-match.
“I’m just incredibly proud of him. I have a lot of respect for anyone that really, really puts their hand up and does the hard yards and KG just wanted the ball,” he had added.
