India lost the first Test by 72 runs to South Africa at Newlands, but the Indian opener Shikhar Dhawan feels it's time to move on and stay positive. Dhawan posted on Twitter and wrote that it's disappointing that they lost but it is key for them to stay confident. India will be playing the next Test from January 13 to 17 at Centurion.

"It's sad we lost the game! But it is important we stay positive and confident as a team.. looking forward to the next game," Dhawan tweeted.

Dhawan had a forgettable first Test. The 32-year-old south paw could only manage 16 runs in two innings. He also did a few blunders while fielding which cost India.

The Delhi batsman may find it tough to secure his place in the second Test as there are talks of KL Rahul getting picked for the upcoming encounter.

India captain Virat Kohli and middle-order batsman Cheteshwar Pujara have slipped in the latest ICC Test rankings. Kohli, who scored 5 and 28 in the match which was dominated by the pace bowlers from both sides, fell one place to No.3 while Pujara's 26 and 4 saw him slip two places down to No.5. Dhawan on the other hand, has slipped three places to 33.

With a 1-0 lead, South Africa have a great chance of securing the series with a win in the second Test, which will be played at Centurion.
