SA vs IND 2018: Sunil Gavaskar bags a commentary stint with Supersport

Supersport, the official broadcasters of South Africa for their full-fledged series against India have roped in former Indian skipper Sunil Gavaskar for a commentary stint for the series. 

Sony Pictures Network, the official broadcaster of the series for India earlier names their panel of commentators for the series. 

The commentary panel for Sony has the likes of former Indian cricketers Sanjay Manjrekar, Ajay Jadeja, RP Singh, Murali Kartik, the voice of cricket, Harsha Bhogle, Deep Dasgupta, Vivek Razdan and former Proteas cricketer Jonty Rhodes, who are all big names having been associated in various capacities with the game.

While the list of names for the host broadcasters includes Sunil Gavaskar, Shaun Pollock, Graeme Smith Michael Haysman, Mpumelelo Mbangwa, Kepler Wessels and others.

Alvin Naicker, head of SuperSport welcomed the duo of Gavaskar and Smith in the commentary panel. “Smith and Gavaskar have become sought-after commentators around the world and we’re ecstatic to have them joining our team for this tour,”
