R Ashwin jokingly asks ICC to step in after Joe Root wins his last 8 tosses

England have been successful with the toss. They won all tosses in their two Test series.

England has the lead in the 3-match Test series against Sri Lanka by 2-0 with the third match going on in Colombo. Before coming to Sri Lanka, the Englishmen had defeated India by 4-1 in a five-match series.

Apart from the outcome of the series, there is another common thing in these two series; England winning the toss throughout the series. In last 8 matches, Joe Root has won all the tosses and lost only one game out of them.

Indian spinner R Ashwin is suspicious over the record. He smells something fishy as the toss is going in favor of England again and again. He jokingly asked ICC to look into the matter on Twitter.

"Annnndddd Joe Root wins his 8th toss in a row, yes England have played some awesome cricket, but such a winning streak with the toss is incredible. Dear match referees please check the coins you dish out???????? #EngvSL," Ashwin wrote.

England defeated Sri Lanka in the first two games which secured the series. The Root-led side won the first Test by a margin of 211 runs and second Test by 57 runs, at Galle and Pallekele, respectively.

After Sri Lanka, England will face West Indies for a three-match Test series which is scheduled to be played next year from January 23.
