India head coach Rahul Dravid came up with a surprise ahead of the Boxing Day Test against South Africa at SuperSport Park, Centurion.

Dravid rolled his arms over in a heart-warming sight as the toss and start of play was delayed due to a wet outfield on Tuesday (December 26).

Before the start of play, the Indian players were warming up and it was at this point Dravid was seen offering his military-medium pacers to the batters.

India’s star batter Virat Kohli also joined the head coach and bowled a few deliveries with his unique action.

Coming to the Test match, KL Rahul stood up tall for India in tough batting conditions at SuperSport Park. The wicketkeeper-batter returned with an impressive unbeaten 70, propelling the visitors to 208/8 on a rain-marred opening day.

Kagiso Rabada starred with the ball for South Africa on Day 1, taking five wickets by conceding 44 runs in his 17 overs. Nandre Burger also claimed a couple of scalps.
