The first T20I between South Africa and Sri Lanka saw a dramatic finish. Chasing 135, the host nation could only equal the score despite having the equation in their favor. They couldn't score 6 runs off the last 12 balls.

More drama in the game as tie-breaker came in. In the super over, South Africa scored 14 runs and Sri Lanka needed 15 to win. 

To everyone's shock, Faf du Plessis, the Proteas skipper gave the ball to veteran leg-spinner Imran Tahir. Guess what? He did the job and that too with ease. Tahir kept Sri Lanka away from the target and restricted them to just 5 runs in the over.

The cliffhanger had a bit of humor as well. When Sri Lanka needed 13 off last two balls, Tahir bowled a wide. The target was still achievable as we have seen two sixes being hit on the last two balls. But the leggie made sure Thisara Perera missed the penultimate delivery.

As soon as Perera failed to connect the second last ball, Tahir erupted in joy. He was literally screaming and jumping. Imran is known for his celebration. He usually runs towards the boundary line after taking a wicket, making it difficult for his teammates to catch him.
