South Africa cricketer David Miller had to take the wicket-keeping responsibility against Sri Lanka on Wednesday. Their regular keeper Quinton de Kock was off the field when Sri Lanka was nine down at 135, chasing 252 runs.
With no back-up keeper, Miller was asked to try wicket-keeping. He did take the task but wasn't wearing any wicket-keeping pads.
Miller shocked everyone with his brilliant take behind the stumps off Imran Tahir's delivery. The ball turned away from the batsman sharply and wicket-keeper Miller wasn't bothered.
That brilliant take made South African skipper Faf du Plessis praise him. Faf lauded Miller by calling him 'MS Dhoni'. Dhoni is one of the fastest behind the stumps and has always proved himself the best especially against spinners.
It was the 32nd over when Miller showed quick hands behind the stumps and tried to tump the batsman. Du Plessis can be heard telling David Miller “Look at you go, come on MS”.
