The BCCI selectors on October 6, 2026, announced the India A squad for the upcoming red-ball series against New Zealand in New Zealand. These three multi-day game series will begin on October 24 in Lincoln.

The second game will be played from November 3 in Christchurch, and the third and final game will begin on November 10 in Lincoln.

For these three multi-day matches, the selectors have named Dhruv Jurel as the skipper, despite placing players like KL Rahul, Devdutt Padikkal, and Rishabh Pant in the team. The squad also features the likes of Yashasvi Jaiswal, Washington Sundar, Auqib Nabi, and Sai Sudharsan.

The pace battery also features returning Akash Deep, Mukesh Choudhary, Anshul Kamboj, and Mukesh Kumar, while the spin contingent has Manav Suthar. Ravichandran Smaran and Yash Rathod complete the squad.
