The pitch for the first Test at Wellington seems to be one of the greenest pitches ever and the bowlers would already be licking their lips.
India will face New Zealand in the first match of the two-Test series at Wellington from February 21. The venue has always been known as ‘Windy Wellington’ and has aided the pacers for a long time.
To add to the worries of the batsmen, the pitch for the Test match is looking green and can be an absolute nightmare for the batsmen facing first up. BCCI has tweeted a picture of the pitch from their official Twitter handle and captioned it, “A day out of the 1st Test, this is what the pitch at Basin Reserve looks like. Thoughts ? #NZvIND”
