India’s Ravindra Jadeja is lighting fast in the field and his rocket throws are one of his strengths. Batsmen usually don't put themselves in a vulnerable position thinking about an extra run when the ball goes to Jadeja.

But Jimmy Neesham isn't among them and he had to pay the price as Jadeja pulled off a stunning run-out in the second ODI against New Zealand at Auckland on Saturday (February 8).

In the 35th over of the Kiwi innings, Ross Taylor played a Navdeep Saini delivery with soft hands, which went towards the backward point region. Surprisingly, Neesham – who was at the non-striker end – decided to take Jadeja on.

But the one hand pick up and throw by India all-rounder was so fast that Neesham was caught short of his crease.

Here’s the video:

Coming to the match, India restricted the hosts to 273/8 in 50 overs despite a brilliant start given by the Black Caps openers. Martin Guptill (79 off 79 balls) and Ross Taylor (73* of 74 balls) were the stars with the bat for New Zealand.

Wrist-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal was the stand-out bowler for India, claiming 3 for 58 in his stipulated 10 overs.
