NZ v IND 2020: Mohammad Kaif calls KL Rahul India’s very own Swiss knife after Hamilton heroics

India’s latest wicketkeeper-batsman KL Rahul has been enjoying the best time of his career for the last couple of months after his constant failure, especially in Test cricket, thrown his international career under the dark clouds last year. But he has turned his fate around.

The stylish right-hander probably had the best two months of his life, starting from the West Indies series at home to the away ongoing New Zealand series – everyone is just talking about Rahul and his brilliant dual job – as gloveman and batsman.

Ever since Rahul was given the job behind the stumps during Australia series last year at home, he is just winning hearts with his show whether be it batting at different positions or his glove work.

He has one again grabbed the attention by hitting a fluent knock of unbeaten 88 off just 64 balls batting at No.5 to help India to post total of 347/4 in the defeated first ODI of the four-match series against New Zealand on Wednesday (Feb 5).

Following his fabulous innings, Rahul has been applauded by many cricket fraternities and former India batsman Mohammad Kaif also joined others on Twitter.

He wrote on Twitter, “Opens the innings, Keeps wickets, Stands in as captain, Now finishes big for his team, KL Rahul is Team India’s very own Swiss knife #NZvIND,”
