Team India was really good against the Kiwis in the recently concluded five-match T20I series against New Zealand as they completely whitewashed the home team by winning the series 5-0.
While all the cricket fraternity praised Indian team for their performance, former India cricketer turned commentator Sanjay Manjrekar found similarities between the current Indian team under Virat Kohli and Pakistan team under Imran Khan.
“India under Virat in NZ reminds me of Pakistan under Imran. Strong self-belief as a team. Pakistan under Imran found different ways of winning matches, often from losing positions. That only happens when the self-belief is strong,” Manjrekar wrote on Twitter.

Manjrekar then praised ‘keeper batsman’ KL Rahul for his superb wicket keeping in this T20 series.
“Find of the T20 series in NZ for me is the ‘batsman keeper’ K L Rahul. Absolutely brilliant,” the 54-year-old tweeted.
