India beat New Zealand in the Super Over in the third T20I at Seddon Park in Hamilton and clinched the series with a 3-0 lead and two matches to go.
Earlier New Zealand won the toss and opted to bowl first. Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul gave a flying start of 89 runs in just 9 overs. KL Rahul got out for 27 runs and Rohit Sharma brought up his fifty in just 23 balls but he couldn't convert it into a big knock and got out for 65 runs. In the Super Over of Jasprit Bumrah, New Zealand scored 17 runs and set 18 runs target for India. For India Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul came to bat and India needed 10 runs off last 2 balls and Rohit Sharma hit 2 consecutive sixes and took India home.
