MS Dhoni might not have won the game for India in the last T20I but he never fails to win hearts. Is that enough? That's a different debate but fans were definitely happy seeing Dhoni paying respect to the Indian flag.

A rare sight was seen during the T20I match between India and New Zealand. A fan breached the security to enter the ground and touched Dhoni's feet. This is very normal in India but probably happened the first time overseas.

The fan had an Indian flag in his hand when he bowed down to touch the 37-year-old's feet. But Dhoni quickly took the flag from his hand kept it away from his feet as it would have been an insult to the tricolor. The gesture won the heart of Indian fans. 

Dhoni was playing his 300th T20 match but failed to leave a mark. India needed their star batsman to fire in the much-needed game but he could only score 2 runs off 4 balls. India fell 4 runs short of the target and a loss meant series defeat for the Men in Blue.
