MS Dhoni receiving a loud cheer while coming in to bat is a common sight now. Not only Chennai and Ranchi, Dhoni walking in to bat still excites fans wherever India goes to play.

Recently, during the second T20I against New Zealand, the 37-year-old walked in to bat and fans were on their feet to welcome their favorite cricketer.

Not only the cheer, but there were banners also for Dhoni. Some requested him to never retire while some asked him to play the helicopter shot. This only goes to prove that the former Indian captain has only increased his fan following lately despite failing with the bat.

India was chasing a small total of 159 runs in 20 overs. It was an easy ask after the top order delivered in the second game. The first match was a tough one but India's complete performance in the must-win game paid off. 

Dhoni came in to bat when Vijay Shankar was dismissed on 14 runs. The wicket-keeper batsman remained unbeaten on 20 runs off 17 balls. 

For India, captain Rohit Sharma scored 50 runs and Rishabh Pant remained not out on 40.
