Vaibhav Sooryavanshi is rapidly gaining popularity among fans. The 14-year-old's aggressive gameplay has helped him gain admirers. There have been no indications that the southpaw will slow down.
With the exception of the fifth and final ODI, the young player destroyed the hosts in every match of the current Youth series between India U19 and England U19. He scored 355 runs overall in the five-match series.
Sooryavanshi broke Pakistan's Kamran Ghulam's record with 143 runs in the fourth ODI, the fastest century in a Youth ODI. It is therefore not surprising that the young player is the main draw in the current India vs. England Colts match.
In order to see the young player, who played for the Rajasthan Royals in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 season, fans have been traveling from all around the United Kingdom.
To meet the left-handed batter, two girls named Aanya and Rivaa, who are the same age as Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, drove six hours to Worcester, the location of the fourth and fifth ODIs. As they were photographed with the batter, the two young girls were sporting the Rajasthan Royals jersey.
Rajasthan Royals shared photos on their official social media handles.
"Proof why we have the best fans. Drove for 6 hours to Worcester. Wore their Pink. Cheered for Vaibhav & Team India. Aanya and Rivaa, as old as Vaibhav himself, had a day to remember," Rajasthan Royals' handle wrote on X.
Thanks to Sooryavanshi’s brilliance with the bat, India U19 defeated England Colts 3-2 in the five-match one-day series.
