On September 30, India will play Sri Lanka at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru to begin the ICC Women's Cricket World Cup 2025. India's match against Bangladesh is scheduled for October 26 in Bengaluru, while their high-profile encounter against Pakistan is set for October 5 at the neutral R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo.
For the first time since 2013, India will host the ICC Women's Cricket World Cup. The 2025 tournament will follow the same structure as the 2022 edition, with the top four teams advancing to the semi-finals after each of the eight teams competes against the others in a round-robin format.
In addition to the tournament's hosts, India, Australia, England, New Zealand, South Africa, and Sri Lanka also earned direct entry. Earlier this year, at the qualifiers in Lahore, Bangladesh and Pakistan secured the final two berths.
On October 1, Australia, the reigning champions, will begin their campaign against New Zealand at Indore's Holkar Stadium. On October 22, the main event—a rematch of the previous edition's final—will take place against England, also in Indore. On October 12, India will face the holders in Visakhapatnam.
According to the hybrid agreement reached between the BCCI and the PCB, Pakistan will play all of their matches in Colombo. Their fixtures include games against Bangladesh on October 2, Australia on October 8, England on October 15, New Zealand on October 18, South Africa on October 21, and Sri Lanka on October 24.

With the eight best teams in the women’s game descending on India, alongside incredible venues and what promises to be record-breaking crowds, we are all looking forward to an unforgettable tournament.”
England's other important group-stage games include matches against South Africa in Bengaluru on October 3, Sri Lanka on October 11, and New Zealand on October 26 at Guwahati's ACA Stadium.
In addition to their campaign opener against Pakistan, Bangladesh will play three more matches at the ACA-VDCA Stadium in Visakhapatnam and face Sri Lanka in Colombo on October 20. Meanwhile, South Africa will play Australia (October 25) and New Zealand (October 6) in Indore.
The tournament, to be held in Bengaluru, Indore, Guwahati, Visakhapatnam, and Colombo, will consist of 28 league games followed by three knockout matches. The final league-stage doubleheader on Sunday features India vs. Bangladesh and England vs. New Zealand.
Depending on Pakistan's advancement, either Guwahati or Colombo will host the first semi-final on October 29. Bengaluru will host the second semi-final on October 30. The final will be played on November 2, either in Bengaluru or Colombo.
