England wicketkeeper-batter Sam Billings took a cheeky dig at star Pakistan batter Babar Azam, as he shared the record for the fastest and slowest half-centuries in ongoing PSL 10 tournament.
In an Instagram story, Billings shared a post that contrasted Babar's unwelcome achievement of having the slowest fifty with his own record for the quickest fifty in the competition. The fastest half-century in this year's PSL was scored by Billings, who plays for the Lahore Qalandars, against the Quetta Gladiators in just 19 balls.
The slowest of the season, however, was when Babar, captaining Peshawar Zalmi, scored his fifty in a torturous 47 balls against Islamabad United.
A stats website shared the post on their Instagram first, but Billings re-shared it in his story, amplifying the joke and igniting online discussion and playful taunting of the Pakistani batting star.

PSL 2025, which was postponed last week, will continue on May 17 with the final set for May 25, according to confirmation from Mohsin Naqvi, head of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). All eyes will be on Babar and Billings' on-field performance as the league soon resumes.
