India keeper-batter Rishabh Pant has revealed the one batter from the past he would love to bat within the present time. This happened when Pant was having a #AskRP session on social media platform X.
Saurabh Malhotra, Content Head at Circle of Cricket, asked Rishabh Pant which Indian player from the past he would love to play with and Rishabh Pant’s answer was legendary Delhi player Virender Sehwag.
Sehwag is widely regarded as one of the best Test openers of all time and scored 8586 runs in 104 Tests at a strike rate of 82.23 and 23 centuries along with 2 triple centuries. He made 8273 runs in 251 ODIs, with 15 centuries including one double century. He also played 19 T20Is, scoring 394 runs.
Sehwag was part of India’s 2007 T20 World Cup and 2011 World Cup winning teams.
Furthermore, the LSG franchise, Rishabh Pant’s new home in IPL, asked him which dish he wanted to taste in Lucknow. Rishabh Pant replied Lucknow Biryani.
