Suryakumar Yadav | XSuryakumar Yadav has made himself available for Mumbai’s second Ranji Trophy 2024-25 match against Maharashtra. This match will begin on October 18 and will be played in Mumbai.

Suryakumar Yadav is currently engaged in a 3-T20I series against Bangladesh where India leads 2-0. The final T20I will be played in Hyderabad on October 12.

He has informed the MCA that he will be part of the Ranji Trophy team which will play against Maharashtra,” a source in the MCA confirmed, as per Indian Express.

Yadav has always ensured he plays domestic or club cricket in his free time. Mumbai, who won the Irani Trophy recently, will play its first Ranji Trophy game against Baroda back in their yard on October 11.

Following the Bangladesh series, the Indian squad will play a three-match Test series against New Zealand at home. Yadav is currently considered a T20I specialist and is expected to lead India in the next World Cup at home.

Indian selectors are anticipated to keep the same group that played two Tests against Bangladesh at home, making it unlikely that Yadav will be included in the Test team.
