Australia’s star batter Glenn Maxwell was reportedly hospitalized after a big night out in Adelaide on Friday. He attended a popular golf event in Adelaide’s CBD before allegedly heading to a pub where former Aussie cricketer Brett Lee and his band Six and Out were performing a set.
Possibly, Maxwell had too much fun at the pub, as it was from here that he was sent to Royal Adelaide Hospital in an ambulance. 7News reported that Maxwell did not stay at the hospital overnight, and was back training in preparation for the upcoming T20 series against West Indies.

Notably, Cricket Australia was made aware of the incident, and the report further mentioned that the big night is completely unrelated to Maxwell’s resting from the ODI series against West Indies starting on Friday, February 2.
The all-rounder has had a bizarre run of injuries in the last two years, starting with breaking his leg while messing around at a wedding. He then missed a match in the ICC World Cup 2023, after suffering a concussion after falling off the back of a golf cart while being transported to the team bus.
Maxwell also suffered an unusual arm injury in the opening game of the Big Bash while playing for the Melbourne Stars.
