Former Pakistan cricket team captain Shoaib Malik, on Saturday (January 20), stunned the entire cricket world by announcing his third marriage after his separation from Indian tennis star Sania Mirza.

Mirza and Malid tied the knot in 2010, and the couple was blessed with a boy named Izhaan in October 2018. However, after their separation, now five-year-old Izhaan lives with his mother, Sania.

Meanwhile, on Saturday, Shoaib announced that he had tied the knot with popular Pakistani actress Sana Javed in Karachi. Shoaib posted a couple of pictures from the wedding ceremony on social media with his new wife, Sana.

After the news broke out, Sania Mirza’s father reacted to one of the biggest news stories of the year with a surprising statement about her divorce from the former Pakistan skipper.

Imran Mirza informed PTI that it was a 'khula,' indicating that it was a form of divorce where a Muslim woman has the right to end her marriage unilaterally.

Notably, Sana Javed is a famous actress for her roles in popular drama serials and Pakistani films. She tied the knot with singer Umair Jaiswal in 2020, during the coronavirus pandemic. However, after two years of their marriage, news of their separation emerged.
