Former England captain and well-known commentator Nasser Hussain has singled out Indian batter Suryakumar Yadav as the player to keep an eye on in T20 cricket.

Hussain praised Yadav's exceptional skills, describing him as a bit of a freak with his Mr. 360 style of scoring runs everywhere on the ground.

He added that while Yadav may struggle with decision-making in ODI cricket, he seems to have a perfect understanding of what to do in T20s, making the game enjoyable for fans.

Nasser Hussain was quoted as saying by ICC: “The person for the world to watch out for at the moment in T20 is Suryakumar Yadav. I mean, the bloke is a freak. The cliche of Mr. 360, but some of the shots he plays.”

Hussain expressed his amazement at Yadav's exceptional batting skills and even described the Indian batter as a bit of a freak. However, Suryakumar hasn’t yet impressed many with his batting in ODIs, but he seems to have a solid grip on the T20 format.

Hussain added that watching Suryakumar play in T20 cricket is an absolute delight.

Hussain signed off by saying, “He is a bit of a freak because, in fifty-overs cricket, he doesn't quite know when to go, when not to go, what to do. But in T20 cricket, he absolutely knows what to do almost every single time, and it's a fun game, T20 cricket and watching SKY, that is absolutely fun.”

Suryakumar Yadav is currently nursing an ankle injury and is expected to miss the upcoming Afghanistan T20I series at home.
