Sachin Tendulkar sends wishes for a happy and fulfilling New Year 2024   

2023 saw Sachin Tendulkar being honored with a statue of himself at the Wankhede Stadium.

Sachin Tendulkar was seen in attendance during the recent ICC World Cup 2023 as he was seen bringing in the World Cup trophy into the ground before a match on several occasions. He was also seen walking to the middle with England football legend David Beckham who was in India to witness the India v New Zealand CWC 2023 semi-final.

During this semi-final, Sachin Tendulkar saw two of his world records being broken by Virat Kohli. During his century knock in Mumbai, Kohli went past Sachin Tendulkar’s record of 49 ODI tons and became the first to make 50 centuries in ODIs.

Then Kohli also went past the 700-run mark in World Cup 2023, breaking Tendulkar’s record of 673 which he had set in the 2003 World Cup.

However, in a huge moment of respect, the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) installed a life-size statue of Tendulkar at the Wankhede Stadium, which was unveiled by the legend himself.

Sachin Tendulkar took to X to wish everyone the New Year 2024 and posted:New Year is a great time to script new dreams, and commit further to existing ones. May all our positive thoughts manifest into the goals we desire. Wishing everyone a happy and fulfilling New Year 2024.”
