Cricket Australia (CA) has taken a big step for Pakistan cricket fans, as the two teams are gearing up for the upcoming three-match Test series, starting on December 14 in Perth.

In a commendable move, CA has reserved a special section in the Perth Stadium, termed ‘Pakistan Bay,’ exclusively for the Pakistan team’s supporters for the first Test in Optus Stadium.

A crowd of about 18,000 is expected to watch the opening test between Australia and Pakistan. CA wants to make it a special and friendly experience for Pakistan supporters.

The organizers also designated two specific zones for Pakistani fans, termed as the 'Pakistan Bay'. It is more than just a symbol; it shows a commitment to respect the beliefs of the touring team and its followers, as it is an alcohol-free zone to respect their culture.

Meanwhile, CA and the organizers are going the extra mile to offer Pakistani fans their food preferences.

According to Geo TV, the Pakistan Bay in Perth will have various options for fans, including tea, halal food, and desi food choices. These arrangements show a strong effort to create a family-friendly atmosphere for Pakistani supporters inside the stadium.

While there are positive developments for the fans in Perth, the Pakistan team has faced challenges with the visas and passports, which led to the official team doctor, Sohail Saleem, not being present, creating a noticeable gap in the team's support staff.

Saleem, assigned as the team doctor for the series in Australia and New Zealand, has yet to join the squad.
