The 50-over ACC Men's U19 Asia Cup 2023 will feature eight teams. The event starts on Friday, December 8th. The competition is hosted by the Emirates Cricket Board. In the two opening day matches, India will face Afghanistan at the ICC Academy Oval 1, while Pakistan will face Nepal at the ICC Academy Oval 2.
The eight teams were split into two groups of four. Group A includes Afghanistan, India, Nepal, and Pakistan. Pool B includes Bangladesh, Japan, Sri Lanka, and the UAE.
Afghanistan's U19 team will be led by Naseer Khan, while Bangladesh's U19 team will be led by Mahfuzur Rahman Rabby. Uday Saharan will captain India U19, while Koji Hardgrave-Abe will captain Japan U19.
Dev Khanal will head Nepal U19, while Saad Baig will captain Pakistan U19. While Sri Lanka's U19 team will be led by Sineth Jayawardene, the UAE's U19 team will be led by Aayan Afzal Khan.
The top two teams from each group will advance to the semi-finals on December 15. The grand finale will be held at the Dubai International Stadium on December 17. All group and semi-final matches will be contested at the ICC Academy Ovals 1 and 2. Matches throughout the tournament will commence at 9:30 am local time.
ACC YouTube channel will live stream all the matches of ACC U19 Asia Cup 2023 for fans in India. However, there is no live broadcast of the tournament in India.
