Pakistan’s star batter Babar Azam and former skipper Sarfaraz Ahmed were spotted at teammate Imam-ul-Haq’s pre-wedding festivities.

Both the former captains were in attendance at the pre-wedding festivity known as the Qawwali night. The video of the same was uploaded by Imam on his official X account.

Imam-ul-Haq, the Pakistani opening batter, is the nephew of Pakistan batting legend Inzamam-Ul-Haq. The southpaw is tying the knot with a Norway-based Pakistani doctor, Anmol Mehmood.

Talking about Pakistan cricket, the Men in Green recently endured a dismal World Cup 2023 campaign in India. The 1992 World Cup winners failed to qualify for the semi-final after losing five out of their nine league-stage matches.

In the wake of the disastrous campaign, Babar Azam stepped down as captain in all formats of the game. Subsequently, the PCB appointed Shan Masood as Test skipper and Shaheen Afridi as T20I captain. The captain for the 50-over format is yet to be announced.

Pakistan’s next assignment is the tour of Australia, where they will play three Tests from December 14 to January 7.
