Virat Kohli has added another feather to his hat, this time off the field as he became the highest earner from Instagram from India and Asia with an eye-opening per post fee. He is the only Indian in the top 20 list published by Hopper HQ.

As per the report, Virat Kohli charged a massive USD 1.38 million per post on Instagram, which is around INR 11.45 crores, per sponsored post on the social media platform in 2023.

The list was topped by football great Cristiano Ronaldo, followed by his arch-rival Lionel Messi.

Ronaldo charged a whopping sum of USD 3.23 million which roughly translates to INR 26.75 crore. Messi, on the other hand, charged USD 2.56 million per Instagram post, which translates to INR 21.49 crore per post.

Kohli has 256 million followers on Instagram and his charge of USD 1.38 million per post makes him the highest earning Asian on the list and 14th overall. He is not only the most followed Indian celebrity on Instagram but also the most followed Asian personality as well.  

Besides Kohli, other prominent Asians who feature in the list are singer and dancer Lisa Manobal (ranked 26th), actress Priyanka Chopra, (ranked 29th), actor, singer, model, and businessman Lee Min-ho (ranked 55), author, actor, movie director, YouTuber Raditya Dika (ranked 73), Internet personality Riyaz Aly (ranked 77), actress, model and singer Davika Hoorne (ranked 80th) and actress Song Hyeko (ranked 93rd).
