India keeper-batter Rishabh Pant has made a major and interesting tweak to his bio on social media platforms Twitter and Instagram, adding a second date of birth (DOB) to his bio.
Rishabh Pant, who was born on October 4, 1997, was involved in a near-fatal car accident in December last year. He was on his way from Delhi to his home town Roorkee, when he met with a serious accident as his car collided with a divider on the Delhi-Dehradun highway.
He was rescued by locals and was admitted in a local Dehradun hospital, where he received emergency treatment and plastic surgery to cover up his burn marks, as his car had caught fire and was totally gutted.
The BCCI then decided to airlift Pant to Mumbai, where he underwent further treatment including a knee surgery at the Kokilaben Ambani hospital and after some recovery at home, Pant has been at the NCA in Bengaluru, where he is recovering at a much faster pace.
He has begun walking without crutch and was seen climbing the stairs without support as well.
Though his recovery is better than expected, there is no rush on BCCI’s part to bring him back into action as it is clear that the keeper-batter will miss the entire 2023 calendar year, including the World Cup 2023 as well.
Meanwhile, in a interesting move, Rishabh Pant recently added a second date of birth to his Instagram and Twitter bios. The date is 5th of January, 2023, probably when he had his first surgery on knee in Mumbai.
