Yashasvi Jaiswal | BCCI-IPLYashasvi Jaiswal’s stocks are on the rise ever since his stunning exploits in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 season.

Playing for Rajasthan Royals, the southpaw amassed 625 runs in 14 games at a strike rate of 163.61 with one hundred and five half-centuries.

Apart from his cricketing development, the Jaipur-based franchise is also helping Jaiswal in managing his finances.

“To date, I have managed myself really well. First, I trust my decisions. Secondly, I try and spend on things necessary for me,” the 21-year-old told The Indian Express at Idea Exchange.

“For example, I need a good diet, a good home for the family. I won’t say that I don’t spend much, I do, but not on anything unnecessary,” he added.

Jaiswal acknowledged that Rajasthan Royals help him in all other aspects of life so that he can solely focus on cricket.

“The primary thing for me is cricket; that’s my focus. I think in this matter, I have received a lot support from Rajasthan Royals. They manage me financially, the franchise guides me on how I should invest my money,” he said.

“They take care of my finances so that I can focus on my cricket. I am really grateful and have immense respect for all the franchises which are doing this for their players.”

Jaiswal said he has grown as a cricketer and as a person after featuring in the IPL for three-four years.

“It also depends on person to person (relations). I have been playing for the last three-four years of IPL cricket. I have seen things, I know the dos and don’ts. I am also experienced now, and I try to make fewer mistakes and just want to focus on my game,” he said.

After his stunning display in IPL 2023, Yashasvi Jaiswal was named in India’s squad for the WTC final against Australia as a stand-by player.

On Friday (June 23), the left-hander broke into the Indian Test team for the very first time as he was included in the 16-member squad for the upcoming tour of West Indies, starting July 12.

It is pertinent to mention here that Jaiswal boasts a remarkable record in First-Class cricket, scoring 1845 runs from 15 matches at an average of 80.21 with nine centuries and two fifties.
