Ruturaj Gaikwad had an excellent IPL 2023 as he finished as the second highest run-scorer for Chennai Super Kings behind his opening partner Devon Conway. The 26-year-old scored 590 runs in 16 games as the Chennai-based outfit won their fifth IPL title.
He was also named in the Indian squad for the World Test Championship (WTC 2023) final, but had to withdraw his name, as he told the BCCI that he was getting married on June 3 and couldn’t make it to the UK in time.
Now all eyes are on the lucky lady that Gaikwad is getting married to and she was spotted in Ahmedabad during the final, cheering for Gaikwad and the yellow army. The star batter is all set to tie the knot with his fiancée Utkarsha Pawar.
Utkarsha Pawar has made the fans curious as they want to know more and more about their favourite batter’s wife-to-be.
Born in 1998, Utkarsha Pawar, is also a cricketer and plied her trade for Maharashtra in domestic circuit and is an allrounder. She is a fast-bowler and a right-handed batter and her recent appearance came almost 18 month back. Incidentally, Gaikwad also represents Maharashtra in men's domestic cricket.
As of now, she is reportedly studying at the Institute of Nutrition and Fitness Sciences (INFS) in Pune.
Gaikwad and Utkarsha will tie the knot on June 3.
