India’s Suryakumar Yadav continues to reign supreme in the ICC T20I batting rankings and is also the only one in the top 10 from India. On the other hand, New Zealand's Mark Chapman and Pakistan's Iftikhar Ahmed attained career-best positions.

The duo attained those positions after the fifth and final T20I match between Pakistan and New Zealand in Rawalpindi, which New Zealand won by 6 wickets to level the series 2-2.

Chapman, whose previous best ranking was 54th attained in February 2018, smashed unbeaten knocks of 71 off 42 deliveries and 104 off 57 in the last two T20Is and accumulated an aggregate of 290 runs, and rocketed 48 places to 35th.

Iftikhar Ahmed who scored 36 in the final match, has proceeded six places to joint 38th position. Pakistan captain Babar Azam is ranked third on the spot and Mohammad Rizwan, who scored 98* in the final T20I is on the second spot in the rankings.
