Widely regarded as one of the greatest batters of modern era, Virat Kohli had to give up his education in order to pursue cricket.
The former India skipper completed his 12th grade from Delhi but couldn’t study further as cricketing commitments took him away from education. In the end, it turned out well for Kohli as he made it big in cricket.
Meanwhile, Kohli became the talk of the town on Thursday (March 30) for his marks in class 10th, which he passed in 2004 from Savior Convent School in Paschim Vihar.
The star batter shared his 10th Grade marksheet on the Koo app. There were marks mentioned for subjects like English, Hindi, Mathematics, Science and Technology, Social Sciences and Introductory IT (Information Technology). Surprisingly, there was not a single mention of Sports – an area where Kohli excelled like no one.
"It's funny how the things that add the least to your marksheet, add the most to your character. #LetThereBeSport," Kohli wrote in the caption.
Virat Kohli is set to play for Royal Challengers Bangalore in the 2023 edition of Indian Premier League, slated to get underway on March 31.
RCB will open their IPL 2023 campaign against Mumbai Indians (MI) at Chinnaswamy Stadium on April 2.
