AB de Villiers and Virat Kohli were involved in a fun chat session on the ‘360 Show" on Tuesday (March 21), where India’s batting superstar chose the fastest and worst runner between wickets he played with.

Well, the former Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) teammates and two good friends were not allowed to take each other’s names, with Kohli picking MS Dhoni while De Villiers chose Faf du Plessis as their fastest running partner between the wickets.

Virat Kohli told AB de Villiers on his YouTube channel: “Of course, it's not even a question, I have been asked this question before, AB (De Villiers) has by far been the fastest I have run with between wickets, the only other guy I had so much coordination and understanding with was MS (Dhoni). Now I don’t know about the speeds between the wickets, but with him and MS I would not even have to call.”

The 34-year-old also revealed the "best atmosphere" that he had played in, picking the ODI World Cup in 2011 alongside the T20 World Cup match against Pakistan last year.

He added, “Best atmosphere I have experienced, the IPL final in 2016 was a very special day, it was very very intense, but above that is the World Cup final in 2011 in Mumbai, it was an unbelievable atmosphere. I have never experienced anything like that till 23rd October against Pakistan at the MCG. That night was something else, it was more than a sporting experience.”

Kohli signed off by picking Cheteshwar Pujara, albeit jokingly, as the worst runner between the wickets.

Then Kohli narrated a story. "It was the Centurion Test match on the Tour of 2018, and I remember first innings, I walked into the dugout because the stairs are never-ending. As soon as I sat on the seat, I heard celebration. I saw replays on the big screen, Pujara plays first ball to wide mid-on and he runs, I think it was Lungi (Ngidi), picks up the ball and runs him out. First innings, no worries,"

"The second innings Parthiv Patel plays a ball, wide of gully. AB is running behind the ball. After AB has picked up the ball, Pujara has called for the third run. On his call, running to the danger end, when they showed the replays ther was no one on the screen. Quinie just taking the bails off, there was no one there. I was like, 'You were run out in the first innings. How can you be so brave to take on the quickest man on the field and then not be seen on the screen while being run out. That's the worst call I have seen in my life." Kohli said.
